A 19thC Scottish Vernacular Creepie / Stool (No 4)

A Vernacular Creepie or Five Boarded Stool, in pine, with decorative side panels. Central finger cut hole for lifting.

Good solid dry condition. Age related wear and marks.

Creepies were utility items in rural homes, a seat by the fire or somewhere to rest your feet, candle stand, small side table etc.
