A 19th Century Wasp waisted mannequin, most probably French in origins, however retaining an original brass plaque for an Edinburgh shop fitter, Heccie & Aitchison, 47 Grove Street, Edinburgh.

The wooden base, top and arm rounded shows signs of original ebonising and the original black glazed ceramic top knop or handle is very good condition. The brass hooped mechanism holds the body on the internal steel pole.
