A single curtain of GP & J Baker 'Emperors Robe' heavy cotton fabric, made by Whytock & Reid in 1974 for the Sewing Room at Penicuik House Midlothian.
Direct from a local country house, overall in very good condition, no tears or rips to the fabric, has a few areas of vertical sun bleaching, however it is minimal. The cotton liner is ripped and perishing in areas. Comes unwashed.
