An original design sketch for the Royal Dais used during the opening ceremony of the Forth Road Bridge in Scotland. it is drawn using ink and watercolour. There is some foxing to the card. Dated August 1964.
- The sketch includes "Front View," "Side View," "Plan," and "Section" drawings of the Royal Dais, which was a platform or stage for dignitaries during the opening event.
- The Forth Road Bridge, which the dais was designed for, is a significant suspension bridge in east central Scotland, connecting Edinburgh and Fife across the Firth of Forth.
- The bridge opened in 1964 and was notably the longest suspension bridge in the world outside the United States at the time of its completion.
