Michael McVeigh was born in Dundee and studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art from 1977 - 1982. Some of his early work is on display at the Dundee Centre of Contemporary Arts. His work focuses on the people and life of Scotland, particularly Edinburgh where he has lived and worked for many years.
