Born and raised in Ireland, Sibéal currently lives and works on Salt Spring Island, Canada. She graduated from the University of Ulster, Belfast in 1982 and the University of Calgary, Alberta in 1986. She has taught drawing and painting since 1989 and exhibited extensively throughout Ireland and Canada.
