A landscape painter, wood engraver and linocut artist and a member of the Royal Society of British Artists. He exhibited at both the Royal Academy and at the Royal Scottish Academy also exhibiting forty-eight prints and paintings with the Royal Society of British Artists. Most of his original linocuts and wood engravings were printed by himself and published in small editions.

Provenance - From the personal collection of Maurice Bradshaw CBE. Bradshaw was one of the most influential figures in 20th‑century British art administration: co‑founder of the Art Exhibitions Bureau, organiser of the British Artists Exhibitions, long‑serving secretary to numerous major London art societies, and founding Secretary General of the Federation of British Artists at the Mall Galleries. His contribution to British art was recognised with a CBE in 1977.
